G. Fisichella completes Valencia programme

Giancarlo Fisichella ended Jordan Ford’s four-day test in Valencia by completing 63 laps with a best time of 1:11.83.

Although today’s running was hampered by minor problems including a water leak the team accomplished a significant amount of engine testing and worked to further improve the balance of the EJ13. This week’s test saw the team complete 241 laps of the Spanish track, gathering considerable data on the new chassis and Ford Cosworth RS engine.

Attention now switches to Barcelona on Monday where Fisichella and new team mate Ralph Firman will test alongside each other in a pair of Jordan Ford chassis for the first time.
