Kimi wins for McLaren however his 10 points weren't enought for his team to keep the lead in the Constructors' Championship after Renaults' G. Fisichella and new World Champion F. Alonso finish 2nd and third respectively at the Japanese Grand Prix.
M Webber ,J Button and D Coulthard follow.

Kimi obtains an other win in the hope to defeat his opponent F. Alonso in the race for the championship at the Belgian Grand Prix. The race, characterised by a very humid circuit, offered some sort of suspense with change of tyres dry-intermediate-wet and vice versa, a couple of accidents left J-P Montoya and M Schumacher out of the race.

| K Räikkönen reduces gap by 10 points in Hungary |

K. Räikkönen reduces gap between him and F. Alonso by 10 points after winning the Hungarian Grand Prix. Spaniard failed to get any points when he had to enter an extra pit stop after the first lap due to a touch with R. Schumacher.
Second place for M. Schumacher, first honorable placing for Ferrari this year, apart from the one two in USA.
Toyota do quite well, with third and fourth place.
