| Valencia testing promising for Sauber and Arrows |
|
| |
All the formula one teams except Ferrari , Mclaren and Toyota are at Valencia this week.
Sauber driver Nick Heidfeld set the fastest time at Valencia in yesterday`s practice sessions. He completed 71 laps with a best of 1:12:404 and was very happy about the new C21. His team mate Felipe Massa lapped 3rd fastest before he crashed out heavily due to a faulty front wing
attachment.
Montoya was second fastest in the BMW Williams with Ralph Schumacher 5th behind Villeneuve in the new BAR Honda. Williams test driver Pizzonia was 6th fastest.
The Arrows team had their first very positive outing in the new Ford powered A23 with new signing Heinz Harald Frentzen behind the wheel. He completed 27 laps setting a fastest lap worth the 8th place in the time sheets.
